It's been a busy few months since our studio re-opened, we've met dogs and puppies (lots!) as well as horses and ponies at their stables. Last month though, was particularly important for us, as it was the annual live judging for the Master Photographers Association (MPA) Central (Including East Anglia) Regional awards.
This once a year competition event invites some of the region's best photographers to submit their images to be judged and ranked among other photographers' work.
We submitted six images into the Pet Portrait category and all of them were scored highly. Two scoring Merit, and the remaining four were ranked among the highest enabling us to be listed as Finalist. It was nerve-racking but our image of three dachshunds Moo, Devon and Ted scored the highest in the end and we took the win! What a nerve-racking night but these three are so deserving of this award.
We're now the MPA 2021 Central (Including East Anglia) Region Pet Photographer of the Year.
